new(ish) look

I’ve spruced things up a bit ’round this parts! Went for a cleaner, more polished look in the ol’ blog design. What do you think?

With the spring (ahem…mid-summer…ahem) cleaning … I’ve officially removed the family, maternity and new born portraits from my portfolio. I am officially retired from these types of sessions (with the exception of a few select peeps… you know who you are). I’m going to be focusing on Weddings (& engagements!) and Boudoir photography.

If you’d like referrals on some fabulous photographers in the Reno/Tahoe area who do do these types of sessions (and believe me, they do them fabulously!!), get in touch and I’ll be happy to send you their information!

carla + matt | married

through meetings, engagement sessions, other weddings and their own .. some clients just become more like friends. carla and matt would definitely fall into this category! Plus … they’re so dang cute with each other. Seriously.

Their wedding and reception were held at the Pilot Peak Vineyard & Winery in Penn Valley, California …. just about two hours from Reno. It was a gorgeous vineyard… overlooking a valley and with absolutely perfect light for their portraits!

sarah + andy | married

A gorgeous, but HOT HOT HOT, day at The Resort at Red Hawk…. Congratulations you two! And Sarah… Thanks for making sure I got some wedding cake! Those two, glorious pieces have been the only pieces of wedding cake I’ve had the chance to eat this season. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I think about them every day!
